What we collect

Only what the song needs, and one thing to reach you:

• The brief — the occasion, the name of the person the song is for, your name, and the story you write. That story often contains personal details about someone who is not you.
• Your email — so you can return to your song and so we can tell you when it is ready.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation, never your card number.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent anything you give us. Ever.

About the person the song is for

When you write about someone else, you are sharing their details with us. Please only share what you would be comfortable saying out loud at their party. We use those details for one purpose: writing and recording their song.

Who else touches it

To make a song we pass parts of your brief to the services below. Each is bound by its own contract to process the data only for us.

• Anthropic — writes the lyrics from your brief.
• ElevenLabs — records the song from those lyrics.
• Supabase — stores your order and the audio files.
• Vercel — runs the website.
• Stripe — processes payment — we never see your card.
• Resend — sends the two emails we send.

How long we keep it

Your song and its gift page stay available so you do not lose them. Order records are kept while your account with us is active and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to delete your song and we will remove the recordings, the lyrics, and the brief — including the story you wrote.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have those rights in law and we honor them for everyone regardless. Write to hello@yoursongprint.com and we will respond within thirty days.

Children

This service is for adults. Do not order if you are under 18. Songs written for a child are fine — the buyer must be an adult.

Cookies

We set one cookie, and only for staff signing into our own admin area. There are no advertising or analytics cookies on this site, so there is no consent banner to click.
